On September 11, TASC gave a full afternoon workshop to all the members of the school community in Al- Carmeliya school in Kobayat, at the northern border with Syria.
This workshop continues a series of many visits to this school, performed by TASC since 2022.
The workshop was a reminder of the agenda on Reconciliation and Reform that is already started in this school, but also and furthermore we explored many strategies to integrate the components of the “Active and Virtuous Citizenship” in the curriculum and the school activities.
The workshop culminated in group-in-depth work (world-café style) to develop more specific strategies to integrate the “Active and Virtuous Citizenship” in the various subject matters. Each group then delegated a spokesperson who presented the results of the in-depth discussion.
The workshop was a source of rich mutual discussions and much creativity: a great inspiring start for the school year.
