TASC monthly accompaniment of teacher core groups continue, through the path of “purification of memory”.
on May 18, teachers of Al Carmeliya School in Kobayat discussed the documentaries “For the Love of Tomorrow” and “The Imam and the Pastor”.
Each of these documentaries was viewed by half the members of the core group.
The discussion hence was led by the participants and enriched the dealing with the theme of “shifting from inherited stories of enmities between communities, to considering the discovery of new dimensions that uncover the goodness in so-called ennemies and the possibility of forgiveness and reconciliation”.
This mentioned theme is promoted by the part of the guidebook “New Narrative for a Shared Humanity” entitled “becoming authors of our stories”: a guidebook produced by “Creators of Peace” to serve Reconciliation and substantial positive change.
